Bangalore Ceramics is fully equipped for manufacturing technical ceramics by Ceramic Injection Moulding (CIM) technology. Getting involved at the development stages of a project helps us optimize delivery time for development of the product. From creating prototypes to large quantities, we specialize in manufacturing intricate and complex ceramics.
This multi-step process begins with the compounding of fine ceramic powder with polymer binders to prepare the feedstock. The feedstock is then moulded to the required shape of the component. The polymer used is then removed thermally from the component in a process called de-binding. After which, the ceramic component is sintered in a furnace at high temperatures above 1600℃.
